Sean's school sponsored a field trip to the Hogle Zoo. We had previously decided to not attend with the whole family but to send Sean with his teachers. That morning Mark woke up late and decided a day with his family seemed better than a day at work. We called Sean's teacher to see if we could still get the group discount rate and she surprised us with extra prepaid tickets! We got a day with Daddy and a free trip to the zoo. The train is up and running again and continues to be Sean's favorite part of the zoo.
Kaylin likes small, furry animals. She was very territorial over this Mara and would stand in front of it when other people came up to see it. She really likes her pet bunny and tries to pick it up by the ears.
We were all pretty tired walking up the last hill to the car but overall this was a very successful trip to the zoo.
