Christmas in November????

Yes, that's right, that is the Christmas Tree going up. Christmas is in full swing at the Hamblins. Mark put the lights up outside. Thanks to Mark's Mom, we have a three foot snowman that sits on the front lawn. We listened to the Carpenter's Christmas album in the morning and by lunchtime had decided that the tree was going up too! We had tons of fun! Claire loves the tree and the lights. She loves "ball, balls" and Christmas comes with all kinds of balls. We purchased "Claire proof" plastic balls for the tree this year and Claire helped put them up. Yes, we know that we are a bit crazy for getting started early but Mark and I have always put Christmas up before Thanksgiving. This is the best time of the year. Why not enjoy it for an extra week.

Halloween Fun!

Claire was a turkey for Halloween. I tried to pick out a girly costume for her but I just couldn't do it. She had to be the turkey. Mark and I had so much fun introducing her to the holiday. She enjoyed wearing her costume and after a few houses she got the hang of trick or treating. We went trick or treating with Claire's cousins in Spanish Fork. We attended the ward trunk or treat activity. Claire participated in the children's costume parade with Mark and our friend Hannah. Claire didn't understand what candy was but she knew that those were her treasures in the bucket and would not share with Mom and Dad.

Hi everybody! We are excited to be online to share some of our family with you. I used crazyhamblins as our url because we are a little nuts at our house. Each of us has a quirk or something that we do that makes us a little crazy. Fortunately we have our sweet spouses and kids that look pass these "crazies" and love us anyway.
Mark and I spend most of our time and energy loving our sweet little girl, Claire. Claire is 18 months old and is super fun. She LOVES to dance! She loves to be naked! Put those two together and you have one happy child. We are still first time parents that take pictures of everything she does so just bare with us and tell us how cute she is.
