We ate dinner at McDonalds and set the kids up with a movie for the second half of the trip.
Claire and Sean were the BEST travelers!
In July we made the 6 hour trip up to Great-Grandma's cabin in West Yellowstone.
The trip was made awesome by spending it with my two brothers, their families and my parents. We drove up on a Friday evening caravan style with my Dad calling everyone every 20 minutes to keep us coordinated!

The big kids were beyond excited to get set up for the first night at the cabin.

There were ten kids under the age of 6 on our trip. Most of our time was spent with the kids outside playing in the dirt and the adults talking and rocking on the porch.

We visited the bear and wolf animal reserve in West Yellowstone. It was pretty cool to see the bear close up.

Claire and Sean posed in the Teepees.

A very sleepy Mommy and Daddy. Sean struggled to find sleep at night in a different bed. The days were so full of fun but the nights were long.

My favorite picture from the trip.

Me and the one buffalo we saw on our way to Old Faithful!

My Mom bought the kids cowboy hats and neckerchiefs. Claire and her cousins wore their hats and scarves the whole trip. Here they are getting ready to roast marshmallows.

Sean trying to catch up on his sleep!

Luke finally found the dirt and the dog's water bowl. He had a lot of fun.

Mariachi Man Sean

Waiting for Old Faithful. It's a long wait but he always delivers.

Rafting down the river

I have about 7 pictures of Sean sleeping during activities because he wouldn't sleep at night.

Feeding the seagulls at Big Springs
We saw a moose!

This was a great trip. The kids had fun playing all day with their cousins. Claire was the family MVP. She slept great at night and couldn't wait to wake up in the morning for the days activities. She made it the whole trip without a single accident. We are always impressed by how grown up she is. Luke was an adorable cabin baby. He slept well in his pack and play and never did find the staircase! Sean loved playing outside. He found good snuggle time with his grandma and grandpa. He liked to be pushed around in the stroller and even participated in craft time. The adults had fun staying up at night. We played Beatles rock band until midnight one night and made it through my Dad's two horse movies, Hidalgo and Secretariat. I love my family and enjoyed the close time together talking, laughing and chasing each other's kids.
