July

Kaylin has become a thumb sucker. Fortunately she will still take a binky.
She continues to be everyone's favorite baby sister.
Sean spent a couple hours in the ER. Our pediatrician sent us there after Sean had thrown up 17 times in one day. He couldn't keep anything down and we were worried about dehydration. It was a bit scary.
He perked up a bit when the nurse gave him a backpack with a wooden car and track to play on.
Claire and Sean love their swim lessons. We are having a great experience at the American Fork Rec Center. We have done two sessions this month. Going to swim lessons every day has helped Sean have some structure to the long summer days. The first part of the month was extremely difficult for him. He struggles with coping with his stress when he isn't in school or in this case trying to adapt to not being in school. About a week and a half ago he has settled into his routine and has calmed down. He has actually been a very happy boy! I'm super proud of him. Of course we are going on vacation this week which causes stress and then school starts two weeks later so we will have another adjustment period at that point. Bless the little guy's heart. Sometimes being autistic is hard.

Luke is my swimming lessons helper.
Lukey has also started potty training himself. I was going to wait until after our family vacation but he found his new underwear and couldn't wait to get started. He knows he gets candy for going in the toilet and will often stay dry throughout the day to get lots of candy. We will get serious after our trip.
I take a lot of photos of this little girl.

Claire earned herself a new bike after she grew out of the old when and put a hole in the tire from riding so much. It's fun to ride bikes in the park.

Crazy brothers. I love when these two are friends.

 One of our favorite zinnias.

Sweet baby Kaylin is 4 months old today. She continues to be the most perfect, adorable, easy-going, happy little babies. My milk supply dried up this past week(this is the same time is dried up with my other babies). I am finding myself weening my baby way earlier than I wanted to. Fortunately Kaylin has taken to a bottle without any problems. I spent the entire day crying yesterday. I have loved nursing my baby and will miss that special relationship with her. Having a baby on a bottle will allow me some flexibility and I'm anxious to get started back with weight watchers. I am really looking forward to school started back up on August 20th.

4th of July

One of our favorite traditions is watching the Provo 4th of July Parade. My Dad went early and saved us seats so we could take our time coming down from Lehi. This is one of the kids' favorite traditions. Mark and I enjoy watching the Timpview High School marching band go by. It's hard to believe that our relationship started there and now we have four kids. It was a pretty funny before and after picture.

After the parade we went home and had a bbq with our friends that were preparing to move to Japan. It was a nice, casual relaxing day. We pulled out the usual sparklers and poppers for the kids. This was a happy, stress free holiday for us.

Our plan was to get the kids to bed at a decent hour but our neighborhood was full of fireworks. We let the kids stay up and enjoyed a highly entertaining firework display.
I enjoy this picture because of the look of terror on Luke's face. He went to sleep shortly afterwards.
