Thanksgiving

Daddy arrived home from Albuquerque Wednesday afternoon. We were happy that his flight was only delayed a few hours due to the weather and crowds. Traveling the day before Thanksgiving was not ideal but it could have been worse. The kids are always so excited to see him when he returns. He has been out of state 5 times in the past 7 weeks. We still don't have any job offers and will be unemployed in January if we can't come up with something soon!
The good news is that we have faith, our beautiful family, the gospel and so many who love and support us. We are so blessed.

Claire took her job of decorating the Christmas tree very seriously. After the kids went to bed Mark and I picked out our 5 favorite ornaments, placed them at the top of the tree and put everything else away. With two small, strong, fast little boys we may have a bare tree for a few years.

Claire's totally awesome "mega-watt" smile!

Sean followed Claire's decorating by using a hammer to knock the ornaments off the tree.
He is a great helper.

Luke mesmerized by our snow globe.

Three little monkeys ready for bed on Thanksgiving.

We lost ducky two nights ago. Claire had to go bed without him. She told us that she was okay and picked out other animals to sleep with. We found ducky last night and the reunion was joyful. She must have been so brave without him. This was Claire and Ducky's first night apart in 2 1/2 years.

Luke~6 months

We love 6 month old babies!
Luke delivered the most beautiful smiles.
I am thrilled with how all of the photos turned out.

Auntie Kara/Santa baby

Beautiful pictures of Luke and his birth mama.
The past 6 months have been good to Kara and our family.
I am so grateful for this special relationship.

November

Claire loves to hold Luke. She always talks about how she wants to be a mommy when she grows up and then she can hold her baby brothers.

Sean is redefining the term "mama's boy".
He doesn't like when I leave him and lays on me when I return. I had just come home from being at cub scouts for one hour.
Sean climbed, stood and laid on me for 30 minutes.
I LOVE IT!

Luke rolled into Claire's hat

Swinging at the park on one of our last warm days.

Mark just returned home from a trip to North Carolina. He will be going back to New Mexico in a couple of weeks. After 5 fly~outs we are hoping that someone will hire him.
We are trying to manage the stress of job hunting and living unsure of our financial future. We appreciate so many people who are praying for us. I have felt the calming effects of your faith.
Thank you!
