Summer Lovin'

                                                A girl and her dog

                                   Family picnic up Provo Canyon

Claire went off roading for a good portion of the trail. Her daddy was thrilled with his little mountain biker(in a dress).
Sean dripping melted popsicle all over his Grammie.
Little boys climbing all over Grandpa out in the church field.
One of the sweetest faces ever!

Our Canadian Family

We had the nicest visit with Carole and Jas' family from Victoria Canada. They surprised our kids with Canada shirts which they wear all the time! Our attempt at a Grandchild photo. Here are all of Lyman and Kay's grandchildren ranges from ages 20 down to just a few weeks.
Jesse and Jocelyn chased our kids around for three days. I'm certain they needed a vacation after tending to all of their younger cousins. Sean loved when Jesse flew him like an airplane. Claire enjoyed playing soccer with her big cousins and Luke was pleased with a fresh audience to entertain! Jas and Carole are the most compassionate parents and we learned a lot from their examples. We can't wait to meet up again and one of these days it will be in Victoria!

The old gang

The three amigos got together for a bbq tonight at our house. Mark, Craig and Tyler have been friends since the 1st grade. Craig's family was in town from Texas and were able to make time to see us. I love watching these three men as father's. I think they are all pretty great. I am grateful for their amazing wives and that our kids get along. See you next time Mackays!

July 4th, 2012

Daddy got up really early to help save seats for the parade. Sean loves parades! He was excited in this picture because the BYU people were walking by and he knew that his shirt say BYU. It was really sweet.
Sean enjoying the parade from Grandma's lap.
This picture makes me laugh. That is about how much Luke liked the parade.

We ran up to the campsite to have hot dogs and smores with Grandma and Grandpa Hamblin then returned home for some quick poppers and sparklers before bedtime.

Lukey fell asleep in the car and missed the sparklers. The kids went to bed by 9 and Mark and I watched the Thanksgiving Point fireworks from our window. Another successful 4th of July!

Summer Crazies!

A cute new short summer haircut for Claire.

Mark experimented with a new recipe: "Smorsies" A graham cracker crust, layer of brownie, melted chocolate chips and toasted marshmallows. They were a bit intense but a fun summer treat.
Popsicles with cousins. Joe and Sean are two peas in a pod. I hope they will become good friends as they grow up.
Stock "horse" parade in Lehi-part of the Lehi Round Up. Anyone who owns a horse in Lehi can ride in the parade. The kids loved it.

Sean LOVES parades! He kept saying, "horses coming. Look, horses!"
We followed up the parade with yummy snow cones at the Shark Sack-rainbow, pink lemonade and tiger's blood.

Princess Festival 2012

Claire and I had the best time at the Princess Festival this year. Aunt Rachel took the brothers for the morning so we could have some fun Mommy/daughter time. Claire wore an "Aurora" dress that she borrowed from her friend Nora. We had fun picking out her jewlery and making a crown. Claire felt and looked beautiful. She was brave this year and walked up to the Princesses to ask for an autograph in her notebook and a picture.
We attended the festival with two of Claire's friends Jocelyn and Jessica. They live on our street and their Daddy works with Mark. Here they are with the Frog Princess and Ariel.
                                            Claire and Snow White
                                                     Aurora and Aurora
I think Claire's favorite part was watching the play Rumplestiltskin. She laughed at the jokes and participated with the audience. My favorite part was watching her.

Claire chose to have her hair in a braid just like Rapunzel.
                                                I love this Princess!

We had so much fun and are already planning on attending next year!
