One of our favorite traditions is watching the Provo 4th of July Parade. My Dad went early and saved us seats so we could take our time coming down from Lehi. This is one of the kids' favorite traditions. Mark and I enjoy watching the Timpview High School marching band go by. It's hard to believe that our relationship started there and now we have four kids. It was a pretty funny before and after picture.
After the parade we went home and had a bbq with our friends that were preparing to move to Japan. It was a nice, casual relaxing day. We pulled out the usual sparklers and poppers for the kids. This was a happy, stress free holiday for us.
Our plan was to get the kids to bed at a decent hour but our neighborhood was full of fireworks. We let the kids stay up and enjoyed a highly entertaining firework display.
I enjoy this picture because of the look of terror on Luke's face. He went to sleep shortly afterwards.
