Yay! Daddy's Home!Mark just returned home from Chandler, AZ where he interviewed at Intel. Next he is headed off to Champaign, Illinois to interview for a post-doc position at the University of Illinois~Champaign, Urbana. In a few weeks he will fly to Albuquerque, New Mexico to interview for a position at a National Laboratory. Wow, it is a HUGE month for our family. We are hopeful that someone will offer us a job.
Where do you think we should go???
We are so fortunate to have an open adoption with Luke's birth Mommy. These moments are sacred for Kara as well as for those of us that get to witness this beautiful relationship.
Luke snuggled up to her and took a nap.
Kara helped us feed Luke rice cereal for the first time.
Luke is 5 months old. He rolls all over the house and just cut his first tooth!
He laughs and smiles and plays with toys.

I vote Illinois, then NM, then AZ. My dad did Intel for a few years. The stock options were AWESOME, but don't be surprised by 14 hr work days. Jus' sayin'. Go Urbana-Champagne!!
Yeah for interviews! I think you should go somewhere close to us (wherever that might end up being). :) Good luck and keep us posted!
